The next day in Denmark we took a morning walk by the Little Mermaid. We slowly made our way to the Designmuseum Danmark. There were really great exhibitions there including Just One Good Chair about Hans Wegner. It was so interesting to learn about his design process and career. I love his Shell Chair. One of the best parts of the museum was where you could sit in the furniture to test out how successful the legendary chairs actually are. I am here to tell you, there is a reason they are so highly regarded! After spending hours in the museum we went to relax by Nyhavn Harbor and watch the boats go by. The colorful houses have so much character. Our last day we spent exploring smaller canals and observe the cyclists of Copenhagen (bike lanes are no joke in Denmark!). Overall it was an amazing weekend, thanks to the sweet and secretive Zachary.
If you haven't been to Copenhagen I would highly recommend it. Visiting a city like Copenhagen made me fall in love with design all over again.
