Hello again Edinburgh
Even though we left Stirling on Saturday, yesterday was our first big day of adventure. We started off by going to see Holyrood Palace (the Queen's residence when she is in Scotland) and then a hillwalk up Arthur's Seat. The views from the top were breathtaking. I will post a tutorial later of how to achieve our wind blown hair look that you see in the thirteenth picture. After Arthur's seat we went to Prices Street Gardens to relax and eat our lunch. It started pouring rain while we were eating, but no one seems to care. They continue to play in the park with their kids or relax on a blanket. Next we headed towards Analogue Books, which is an Art and Design print store we had seen passing by on one of our visits to Edinburgh. It is my favorite store... maybe ever. It is full of art and design magazine, zines, books and a few products. Talk about inspiration overload! It was hard not to buy everything in the store. If you find yourself in Edinburgh you really must go there. We are going to go back later in the week. We also spent a little time in the National Museum of Scotland. They had a great exhibit about Art, Design and Industry. Zach and I are going to make another trip there as well.
What a great day!
